Scope and Aims

The Journal of Taibah University Medical Sciences (JTUMED) is an open access, bi-monthly peer reviewed publication. Authors are invited to submit articles for publication, reporting original work in clinical and basic medical sciences covering topics from medicinedentistrynursingpharmacyhealth administrationpublic healthmedical education, and all allied health specialties. Editorial articles are by invitation only. However, those received and found to be of an outstanding nature will be considered for publication. Other regular features within the journal include, systematic review articles, short communication, cohort profiles, letters to the editor, and critical appraisal short summaries.

All articles are professionally copyedited and typeset to ensure quality. Articles published in JTUMED are immediately made freely and permanently accessible online without any cost to readers. Also, there are no costs to authors (i.e. there are no submission or article processing charges).
