A peer-reviewed scientific journal published semi-annually in both print and electronic formats by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, under the supervision of the University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The journal publishes specialized research and scientific studies in the fields of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language Studies. The editorial board of the journal consists of a number of university professors.

The first issue of the journal was published in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal in the year 1437 AH, corresponding to January 2016. Since then, the journal has been published regularly. The main language of publication in this journal is Arabic, with the possibility of publishing in English.

Scope and Aims

Vision: To be a leading scientific journal ranked among prestigious global scientific databases.
Mission: To publish peer-reviewed scientific research in the fields of Islamic studies and Arabic language, adhering to distinguished global professional standards.

Objectives:
· To meet the needs of researchers locally, regionally, and globally for publishing in the fields of Islamic studies and Arabic language.
· To contribute to building a knowledge-based society through the publication of specialized, peer-reviewed research characterized by originality and scientific contribution.
· To serve the community by publishing valuable research and adopting writings on contemporary issues within the journal's scope.


Submission Guidelines

The researcher submits the publication request electronically.
The researcher sends to the journal's research reception email two copies of the research in PDF format, one stripped of personal data, and two other copies in Word format, one also stripped of personal data.
The researcher fills out the journal’s researcher declaration form and sends it along with the copies of the research.
The researcher writes a letter addressed to the journal's editor-in-chief requesting the review and publication of the research.
The researcher is notified upon the receipt of the research.
Sending the research to the journal's email constitutes the researcher's acceptance of the journal's (publication terms).
The journal's editorial board has the right to conduct a preliminary review of the research and decide its eligibility for review or rejection.
If the research is deemed ineligible for review, the researcher will be notified accordingly, and the journal is not obligated to provide a reason for the rejection.
If the research is deemed eligible for review, it will be sent to at least two reviewers.
Upon the completion of the reviewers' reports, the researcher will be informed of the review results.
The researcher is required to make the modifications within a period not exceeding one month from the date of receipt and must provide a detailed report explaining their stance on the comments not implemented.

Reception Procedures

The research must be new, not previously published, and not extracted from prior work.
It should be characterized by originality, novelty, innovation, and contribution to knowledge.
The research topic must fall within the journal's fields and specializations.
The researcher must provide a declaration stating:
1. The research has not been published or submitted to other entities for publication, and will not be submitted to any other journal if accepted for publication.
2. The research is free from content that contradicts Islamic law, prevailing laws, state policies and plans, or content that incites division and disturbance to public order and security, harms public relations, serves foreign interests contrary to national interests, insults human dignity and rights, or incites hatred and defamation.
The research must adhere to the rules and methodology of authentic scientific research.
The total length of the submitted material for publication must not exceed 10,000 words, including Arabic and English abstracts, references, appendices, and indexes.
The plagiarism rate in the research should not exceed 20%.
The first page of the research should include the researcher’s name, academic rank, general and specific specialization, workplace (department, college, university), and email address in both Arabic and English immediately after the research title.
